In The Pines Christmas Card
I can’t believe that October is over halfway over and Christmas is just a little over two months away! Time to start making Christmas cards! This card came together quickly using the In The Pines Bundle. The stamp set coordinates perfectly with the dies. I will be making many more cards with this bundle and I love how tree’s are really something that you can use on birthday, thinking of you, and encouragement cards so you get a lot of mileage out of this set. All the dimensions, instructions and products used to make this card are below.
Here are the instructions to make this card:

Assembly:
Die cut three tree’s using Daffodil Delight CS, Magenta Madness CS, and Coastal Cabana CS scraps.
Using the Silicone Craft Sheet add Shimmery Chrystal Effects to tree’s and let dry several hours.
Die cut the 2nd largest Stitched Rectangle with Whisper White Card Stock.
Die cut two snowdrifts on remaining 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” Whisper White Card Stock.
Add Shimmery Chrystal Effects in a thin line along each snowdrift and let dry.
Arrange snowdrift layers to your liking and lay over the top of the Stitched Rectangle piece.
Lay Stitched Rectangle over all three layers and run through die cutting machine to make the stitched marks on sides of snowdrift, which cuts them to fit onto the Rectangle piece. (don’t adhere yet)
Stamp the “snow” dots from the In The Pines stamp set in Versamark ink onto the top 1/3 of the Rectangle piece and heat emboss with silver embossing powder.
Stamp “Merry Christmas” with Versabark ink to the front snowdrift and heat emboss with silver embossing powder.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere tree’s to back of snowdrifts and glue down back layer.
Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on back of the front snowdrift and adhere.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to Adhere the finished front layer to card base.
The Shimmery Crystal Effects really makes this card pop!
